The network cultural urban studies research was founded in 2015 at the Department of European Ethnology of the University of Vienna and since then meets regularly for an annual workshop. The goals are to exchange information and discuss research projects on urban studies based in ethnography and cultural theory, and to further develop theoretical and methodological approaches in this field.
